Donations are now being accepted for the purchase of flowers for our sanctuary area for special occasions and weekly celebrations. Donations can be made through the Parish Office Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, February 21, 2022 in observance of the President’s Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 8:00 AM.
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 2, 2022. There will be three Masses with distribution of ashes that day, at 6:30 AM, 8:15 AM, and 5:30 PM. The distribution of ashes will take place after the homily. There will also be a Liturgy of the Word (no Communion) with distribution of ashes at 12:10 PM in the afternoon.
Important Notice (February 6, 2022): Because of the recent surge in the COVID-19 Pandemic, Parish Ministries, Religious Education Classes and other gatherings outside of Mass will continue to be suspended until further notice. Some ministry meetings will take place by videoconference and participants will be notified of such. Confession and Masses will continue to be held at their regular times.
The Parish Council of Our Lady of Fatima Parish is conducting a parish-wide survey to assess how it can better serve the church community and carry out its mission. Participation is voluntary but strongly encouraged in order to get a representative response. Mail or return your completed survey to Our Lady of Fatima, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or drop it in a collection box in church. The survey may also be completed online at www.fatimachurchabq.org. Please return or submit completed surveys by January 31, 2022. All responses will be confidential and are not associated with any individual unless you choose to list your contact information. Results will be published at a later date after responses are tabulated.
For parishioners who wish to make an end of year donation to the parish, please do so by this Tuesday, December 28th, 2021. If you made a donation by mail and it is not received by December 30, 2021 it will not be counted towards your taxable donations for 2021. The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, December 27, 2021. Donations can be dropped off at the parish office during regular business hours (8:00am4:30pm) on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
Thanksgiving Day Mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 25th, 2021. The Parish Office and School will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following Thanksgiving Day.
Monday, November 1, is All Saint’s Day. It is not a Holy Day of Obligation because it falls on a Monday this year. Mass will be offered at 6:30 AM, 8:15 AM (Our Lady of Fatima School Mass) and 5:30 PM. Tuesday, November 2, is the Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed (All Soul’s Day). It is not a Holy Day of Obligation, but it would very appropriate to attend Mass and pray for the souls of the faithful departed. Masses will be offered at 6:30 AM and 8:15 AM. A special envelope for All Soul’s Day has been included in your offertory envelope packets on which you can list the names of deceased persons that you would like to have remembered at Mass on All Soul’s Day and make an offering. The Masses of All Soul’s Day will be offered for the repose of the souls of those listed on the envelopes. These envelopes may be placed in the collection on or before All Soul’s Day.
Join us for Mass at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Our Lady of Fatima Parish annually celebrates October 13th as the date of our Blessed Mother’s final public appearance to the shepherd children of Fatima and the occurrence of the “Miracle of the Sun” (October 13, 1917).
October is observed as “Respect Life Month” by Catholic parishes throughout the United States. It is a special time to pray, fast, and be mindful of the Godgiven right to life, from conception until natural death, and the dignity inherent in every human being, having been created in the image and likeness of God. Our Lady of Fatima Parishioners have been asked to be present outside of the Planned Parenthood on San Mateo on October 5th and October 19, 2021 for some period of time between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. On October 16 & 17, representatives from Holy Land Handicrafts will be selling religious woodcarvings that have been made in Jerusalem and Bethlehem by Christian craftsmen working with olive wood. The quality of the work is exceptional and the grain lines of the olive wood give real character to the pieces. Come by and take a look. They make wonderful Christmas presents! Your purchase will help Christians in the Holy Land to provide for their families.

The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Sunday, August 15th. Masses will be at the normal weekend Mass times of 5:30 PM on Saturday, and 7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:00 noon on Sunday.
